Sandaruwan Madduma Bandara, was born on 10 April 1975 in Kandy, Sri Lanka. He has traveled widely, and been educated in Nigeria, Sri Lanka, the UK and the USA. He is an old boy of Trinity and Dharmaraja Colleges, Kandy.

In 1991 he founded The Young Writers Association in Sri Lanka. In 1994 he published his first novel, St. Anarchy’s College, which he wrote at the age of fifteen. Several of his short stories and poems have appeared in literary journals in Sri Lanka and in the US. In 1994 and 1995 he won the National Youth Awards in Sri Lanka for poetry and short story writing.

He is a Business Management graduate from Franklin & Marshall College in Pennsylvania, USA.

In April 1999 he published his collection of short stories titled, just another bomb blast. In 2002 he published the the non-fiction book Lionsong, about Sri Lanka's ethnic conflict. Sandaruwan also translated the biography of the well known industrialist Jinasena from English to Sinhala. 

Sandaruwan has published many articles to national newspapers in both Sinhala and English languages.

He has developed the website designs and content for many major commercial websites including Aitken Spence Hotels and Maliban Biscuit Manufactories.

Sandaruwan is Google certified for Search and Display Advertising and for Analytics. He has over 17 years experience in providing web design and digital marketing services to clients around the world.

Sandaruwan also enjoys photography, videography and painting. Arial Videography and Photography are among his new interests.

He works as the CEO of 3CS (www.3cs.lk), Sri Lanka's premier web solutions company. 3CS has won numerous web design awards and serves some of Sri Lanka's largest blue chip companies and conglomerates.
